USF WBB team fought hard against the 3rd ranked team in the country but just didn't have enough at the end as they fall 68 to 80. USF, now 15-14 (7-8), battled hard but the Irish were just too strong as they pulled away in the second half.
Tahira Johnson had 7 points and 3 rebounds. Jasmine Wynne had 18 points and 3 rebounds as she continues her great senior season. Andrell Smith had 7 points and 2 rebounds. Sasha Bernard had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 steals. Inga Orekhova had 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists as well to balance out the scoring attack that just couldn't get enough done in the second half.
The Bulls had a shot in this game, but couldn't quite pull it off. USF will play it's last game of the regular season on Monday night as they return to the Rec Center to face Providence at 7PM.
