Anthony Collins Named All Big East Rookie Team

The Bulls had a great regular season and there is still a lot of work to do, but one Bulls was honored today by the Big East as Anthony Collins was named to the All Big East Freshman Team (no other Bull was selected for the other teams).

The 6-1 180-pound guard out of Houston, Texas missed the first few games of the season due to his hamstring injury, but took over the point and has never looked back since.

AC has averaged 8 points per game, shooting 49% from the floor and 85% from the free throw line.  He averages 4.5 assists per game, 1.9 rebounds per game, has 42 steals, and 5 blocks on the season as well.  AC was a passer to begin the season, but as he grew more comfortable and healthy, he began to assert himself more on offense, attacking the basket and finding his mid-range game, taking his game to another level.

This is a great honor for the young point guard as he led the Bulls to new heights and continues to lead them to the Big East tournament and hopefully into the postseason.
