USF Baseball Wins 9 to 3 Over Lafayette

The offense remained hot as the Bulls beat Lafayette 9 to 3, second win in as many days, improving to 14-6 on the year as they continue to get the offense going and great starting pitching.

Joey Lovecchio went 6 innings, allowing 6 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks, and struck out 5. The bullpen was on its game once again. Austin Adams worked 1 inning, allowing a walk and struck out one. Adrian Puig worked 1 inning, walking one and Devin Smith worked the final inning, allowing just a single hit.

The offense continued to put runners on and get them moving. Alex Mendez went 1 for 3 with 3 RBIs in the game (really playing well right now). Chad Taylor went 2 for 3 with an RBI. James Ramsay went 2 for 3, Buddy Putnam went 2 for 4 with an RBI and Luis Llerena went 2 for 4 with an RBI as well.

The Bulls will try to sweep the series tomorrow as they play Lafayette at 1PM.
