The Bulls came out and dominated in the first game of the three game series against Eastern Illinois, winning 4 to 0 in spectacular pitching effort by Derrick Stultz.
Stulz went 7 innings, allowing just one hit, walking one and striking out 8. Stulz was in charge the entire game, shutting down EIU and allowing just the lone hit on the night. Austin Adams finished the night, working 2 innings, striking out one batter.
The offense struck early and it was all they would need in the game. James Ramsay went 2 for 3 as he continues his hot streak of hitting. Daniel Rockhold went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs. Jimmy Falla went 2 for 4 with an RBI as well as the Bulls got their runs early and didn't have to do anymore with Stultz running the show on the mound.
The Bulls are now 9-5 on the season and continue to play well at home. They will play tomorrow at 6PM in the second game of the 3-game series.
