The Bulls continued to roll as they hit the road for the first time in conference play, taking both games of the double header against Pitt to run their record to 32-5 on the year, 5-0 in conference play.
The Bulls won 5 to 0 in game one behind the no hitter thrown by ace Sara Nevins. Nevins worked the entire game, striking out a career high 16 batters as the left hander had the Pitt Panthers locked up the entire game. The offense did more than enough as well with Gina Kafalas going 1 for 4, Kenshyra Jackson going 1 for 3 with a home run driving in 3 runs, and Kourtney Salvarola going 2 for 3 as well.
The Bulls kept it going in game two, winning 4 to 0. Sam Greiner worked 6.2 innings, allowing just 2 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 3 batters. Sara Nevins recorded the last out via a strike out. Janine Richardson was 2 for 3 with an RBI and Jessica Mouse went 1 for 2 with a home run that drove in two runs.
It was another big day for USF. The Bulls finished last year with 33 wins, they can match that total tomorrow as they look to sweep the series in the final game, starting at 11AM.
