Six Former Bulls Sign Undrafted Free Agent Contracts

For the first time since 2006, no USF Bulls heard their name called in the NFL draft.  While it is a bit disappointing not to hear a name called, 6 Bulls have already signed undrafted free agent contracts with NFL teams.

Offensive guard Jeremiah Warren has signed a UDFA contract with the New England Patriots.  Coach Bill Belichick was here during USF's senior day, so he was able to get an up close look at the talented offensive lineman that has the size needed to make it at the pro level (per Joey Johnston).

Junior running back Darrell Scott, who opted to leave the Bulls after just one season of action (rushed for 824 yards) is headed to Dallas to join the Cowboys.  Many had Scott as a possible late round pick, but now he will try his luck with Boys.

Center Chaz Hine and cornerback Quenton Washington have signed with the home town Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Hine, the starting center from last season, could play at guard for the Bucs, but is best suited for the center position.  Washington, a very athletic corner, will have a strong chance to join the Bucs with his skill set and the need by the Bucs for young corners (helps to play right back at home as well).

Safety Jerrell Young has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Young is a very gifted safety that can cover and can come up and punish the ball carrier.

Wide receiver A.J. Love, who was slowed down last year with leg injuries, has signed a contract with the Minnesota Vikings.

We wish the best of luck to all the former USF Bulls in the pro careers and hope to see them play on Sundays.
