Bulls Drop Game to Stetson

The Bulls dropped their game to Stetson 2 to 6 as they fall to 20-10 (5-1) on the year. The Bulls didn't get their first hit until the 6th inning and scored both runs in the 9th inning as they struggled to get anything done most of the night on the base pads.

Matt Reed got the start for the Bulls, working 6 innings, allowing 4 hits, 4 runs, walking 1 and striking out one in a solid start, but the offense couldn't get anything done behind him.  Devin Smith worked one inning, allowing one hit, one run, and struck out one batter.  Mike Clarkson relieved him, working two innings, allowing 2 hits, 1 run, and struck out one batter.

Luis Llerena got the first hit in the 6th inning for the Bulls as the Hatters dominated the Bulls for most of the game.  In the 9th inning, the Bulls racked up 4 hits and 2 runs, but couldn't keep it going.  Chad Taylor got a hit and scored a run, along with James Ramsay.  Zac Gilcrease got an RBI and Todd Brazeal tacked on another, but Andrew Longley struck out to end the game.

The Bulls will now hit the road for the first time in a month as they face Cincinnati for three games, starting on Thursday night at 6:30PM.
