Sophomore Guard Blake Nash to Transfer

Sophomore guard Blake Nash announced today (via Twitter) that he was transferring from USF (confirmed by Greg Auman).

The 6-0 190-pound transfer out of Williston State averaged 3.4 points per game (116 total points), .8 rebounds per game, and averaged 12.2 minutes per game in his only year at USF.  Nash was a scoring machine at Williston State, averaging 22.3 points per game, but started in just 3 games for the Bulls, playing reduced minutes.  He played out of position most of the season, playing as a back-up to point guard Anthony Collins.  USF will now have a spot open on the roster and Heath is still recruiting.  Sam Cassell Jr. was recently at USF over the weekend on a visit, so there could still be an addition to this recruiting class.

We wish Blake the best wherever he transfers.  Once a Bull, always a Bull!
