The Bulls continued their long road trip as they headed to Daytona for a quick game against Bethune Cookman before returning to Big East play and they got a huge win in the process.  USF won 4 to 3 on the strength of 10 hits by the offense and a strong outing by Matt Reed as they run their record to 26-12 (10-2) on the year, breaking last years entire win total.

Matt Reed worked 6 innings, allowing 7 hits, 2 runs, walking 3 and struck out 2 batters.  Austin Adams worked 1.1 innings, allowing 1 run, 1 walk, and struck out 1 batter.  Nick Gonzalez worked 1.1 innings, allowing 2 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 2 batters to end the game.

Chad Taylor went 2 for 4.  James Ramsay went 3 for 5 with 2 RBIs on the night.  Kyle Teaf went 1 for 2 with a walk.  Todd Brazeal went 2 for 3 as well as the Bulls did just enough to get the job done to even the series on the season at 2-2.

The Bulls will take on Louisville this weekend for a huge 3-game series that could determine the Big East regular season title.  The first game is Friday at 7PM.
