USF Softball Completes the Sweep Against Pitt

Sara Nevins improves to 19-2 on the year as the Bulls complete their sweep of Pitt.
The Bulls completed the weekend of sweep of Pitt today, winning 3 to 2 as the Bulls improve to an outstanding 33-5 (6-0) record on the year, matching last year's win total on the first day of April.

Sara Nevins was at it again today, working the entire game, allowing 6 hits, 2 runs, walking 2 and struck out 2 as she runs her record to a ridiculous 19-2 on the year.  If there was any question about how good she is, there shouldn't be anymore questions.

The offense did enough to get the win.  Janine Richardson went 1 for 2 with an RBI.  Stephanie Medina went 4 for 4 with the go-ahead RBI in the 7th inning and Kourtney Salvarola went 1 for 3 and scored a run as the Bulls ended the weekend with another big win.

The Bulls are playing at a high level and will return home to face St. John's starting on Friday afternoon as they open up a 3-game set against the Big East foe as Nevins and crew look to notch a few more Big East wins.
