Top 11 Moments from 2011: Number 6

#6 - Wounded Warrior Uniforms

New uniforms always seem to get the fans and players excited and when Under Armour unveiled the Wounded Warrior, everyone got excited.  The uniforms were unique, completely different, but most importantly, represented a greater cause than football, the wounded veterans of the armed forces.

The Wounded Warrior foundation represents the injured veterans that return home from service, providing them with aid when they need it the most.  The uniforms and merchandise sold during the game and after went right to the great foundation and to those who have served the nation.

The uniforms were very unique and only a handful of teams were selected for the uniforms, giving the Bulls a unique honor during the game.  While the team couldn't get the win while wearing these one-of-a-kind uniforms, the memory of seeing them take the field and the cause they represent, was a highlight from the season.

  1. I loved these uniforms! I feel proud that USF was one of the selected few that got the honor to don them in support of our armed forces. They still have plenty of these uniforms available for sale at Sports Authority on Fowler Ave by the University Mall.
