USF Volleyball Beats Rutgers to Open Big East Play

Bulls notch their first win in league play, running their win streak to 7 games. 
USF volleyball got league play started off on a solid foot as they beat Rutgers in 4 sets, improving to 9-5 (1-0) on the season against a very tough Rutgers team that was undefeated at home this season. 

Andrea Rodriguez Gomez had 9 kills and 2 digs.  Kayla Walton had 14 kills.  Valerie El Houssine had 8 kills and 15 digs.  Ciara Brown, continuing to shine in her freshman year had 16 kills and 2 digs.  Claudia Cabrera had 28 digs.  Wylie Devlin had 29 assists and 9 digs.  J'beria Davis had 11 kills and 6 digs to round out a huge game and a huge step for the Bulls as they continue to play well, winning 7 straight now.

The Bulls continue their northeast road trip as they take on Seton Hall tomorrow at 2PM, hoping to get another huge win and continue the strong start in Big East play.
