Instant Reaction: Anger, Pure Anger

So that just happened.  Where do we start after this game?  USF just lost 28 to 37 to Temple....TEMPLE PEOPLE!  USF now 2-4 (0-2) just lost to a team that does not have the same talent that USF does, or at least we think has.  Temple just out coached us, out hustled on every play, and just flat beat us.  USF did nothing to fire up anyone, the coaching staff, which has been a joke, failed to rally the team.  Mistakes, failures, and pure stupidity killed this tea.  And now, we have lost 4 straight headed into the bye week.  Will have to regroup before I can even get a full recap after this garbage.  At least basketball season is coming soon.

  1. This is an announcement from the webmaster. Too long have students, alumni, fans, and student athletes of other sports teams at USF ask why football gets the most attention. I used to say it's because we're in the south and most USF fans are really into football. But now I ask, why? Why have I and why have we, spent countless hours and time devoted to following this team when there are so many other successful USF programs out there like basketball, football, softball, tennis, volleyball, etc? Well this game was the final straw for me. This team and this program are the worst. They give us hope with flashes of talent that they'll go to the next level and then they take it away with their poor execution. Every year we think they'll do it, but they won't and now I know they can't. So guess what? No more countdown toward the game no more favoritism and preference toward the football team from the webmaster. I've taken down the USF game countdown clock and replaced it with something more meaningful with AD SPACE. Until this program or another program steps up and proves its worthy of being the feature team on the countdown. Because that's what a countdown should be a highly watched moment of anticipation for something great to come. Done with football good bye.

  2. I agree wholeheartedly. This team was out played and out coached. Just like they have been for the last three previous weeks. Sinking ship.

  3. Jon, you said it best, time to focus on basketball. As owner and lead writer for this site, that will be the focus, will bring best basketball coverage and the other programs, you know, the teams that actually win.

  4. After 16 years I give up. No more season tickets. Thanks #37. I promised myself back in 1997 that I would never give up on this team unless a: NCAA Sanctions. b: the players quit. Well, after seeing #37 step aside to let their RB walk in for a TD showed me these guys are not as a whole making an effort. In prior years our LB would have planted the RB into the ground. This year, they just move aside. I WILL NOT pay for lack of effort. Thanks #37, you just saved me about $650 next January.

  6. How could they not be fired up to play? They only play 12 (13 ig they win enough) games a year! I blame the coaches 100%.
